Communicative word usage and sentence construction
It is fun to play with words and to juggle with linguistic bits and pieces. Words that are combined into sentences to form a text that prompts a message or describes how something works. Words that are the text’s building pieces, words that add colour, shape and facts and words that bring forward the feelings we want to convey.
Here are some areas for use of words and texts where I can support you.
Advertising texts
This is about telling your audience about the benefits they receive from using your product. To create a positive feeling.
The message can be brought in many ways. Often it is printed matter such as brochures, leaflets, flyers, rollups or packaging, but also about websites and digital billboards.

Technical writer
Here my education and previous professional background comes to use. I graduated as master of science in machine technology in 1984 at Luleå University of Technology. The final specialization was in industrial electronics, which means that I understand terminology of mechanical engineering as well as system development in IT.
Having worked with research and development in mobile telephony, fixed telephony and internet-based services, but also with business development and project management in a couple of decades, often with English as a working language, gives me the confidence to address technical descriptions or operational documents. This is actually my favourite branch.
This is all about developing technical or operational documentation in various forms, such as user manuals, specifications and product descriptions, but also project plans and other governing documents.

Articles
It’s fun to write articles. Particularly fun is to visit a local company or association that deals with something interesting and to highlight this in an article. While at Team Heja, I got the privilege of writing quite a number of them. Partly in the printed magazine HEJA and partly on the homepage, teamheja.se but also some for the Paraply Media magazine called S Magasin.
